Job Details
- Research the history of project sites and their surrounding context along with appropriate project precedents.
- Work directly with design principal and other design staff to interpret and develop conceptual ideas and sketches into schematic design presentations for a wide variety of project types.
- Produce architectural renderings and illustrative building and site plans.
- Collaborate with other design professionals to interpret schematic designs in the construction document and construction phases of the projects.
- Research zoning and building codes, building systems, materials and site requirements.
- Present design and planning concepts to clients and other governing bodies.
Requirements:
- 5+ years as an Architect or Project Architect
- BA in Architecture
- Registered Architect or Designer is highly preferred
- 2d and 2d drafting and modeling software knowledge
- Adobe Creative Suit
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign, ArcGIS, Rendering software and Microsoft Office

- Working projects from start to finish in various sectors
- Budgeting and coordination of proposals, bids and contracts
- Managing coding and keeping up to date on changes in requirements and documentation
- Strong construction administration knowledge
- Review submittals and drawings
