IES Residential is currently seeking Plumbing Warranty Technician to join our Plumbing Division in Katy, Tx.
As a Residential Plumbing Warranty Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing plumbing systems covered under warranty agreements for residential properties. You will ensure that all warranty-related plumbing issues are resolved in a timely and professional manner while adhering to company policies, industry standards, and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic assessments, maintenance, and repair services on plumbing systems and fixtures covered by warranties.
- Investigate and resolve issues with plumbing components, including water heaters, pipes, faucets, drains, toilets, and sewer systems.
- Complete necessary warranty paperwork, including inspection reports and service details, to ensure compliance with company guidelines and manufacturer standards.
- Provide high-quality customer service by addressing client concerns and providing clear explanations of repair processes, expected timelines, and warranty coverage.
- Maintain a positive, professional relationship with homeowners to ensure satisfaction and trust in services provided
- ce if outside the warranty scope, explaining these recommendations to clients clearly and respectfully.
- Work closely with the service and warranty team to ensure timely and efficient scheduling and resolution of warranty-related issues.
- Communicate any issues or concerns regarding parts, labor, or warranty coverage with the appropriate departments.
- Adhere to all safety standards and regulations to maintain a safe work environment for both yourself and the customer.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, both in the client's home and in company vehicles.
- Ensure that all repairs meet local plumbing codes and industry regulations.
- Performing residential plumbing warranty service calls.
Must have Tradesman or above plumbing license active in the State of Texas and active Texas driver’s license.
Minimum 2-5 years of trade experience.
- Strong technical knowledge, be detail oriented and quality driven
- Excellent Customer interaction skills
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must be drug-free, and be able to pass a criminal background check
