Community First Bank', Boscobel WI, is seeking a detail oriented individual to join our team as a Residential Loan Processor II. The Residential Loan Processor is an integral part of team and is responsible for the preparation and processing of loan documentation from origination of the loan through funding. In addition to the responsibilities above, a Residential Mortgage Loan Processor II provides back up support to the Mortgage Administration Officer in system administrative duties as well as serving as a leader and trainer in the mortgage processing department This position has the flexibility to work at many of our current branch locations, including working remotely on occasion, however must be willing to travel to Richland Center for training and meetings on a frequent basis. A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A RESIDENTIAL LOAN PROCESSOR
As a Residential Loan Processor, you will prepare and process loan documentation for our mortgage loan customers. This includes document completion, making contact with third party vendors, closing, securing and funding loans. The Residential Loan Processor supports the Mortgage Banker in ensuring that deadlines for closing the loan are met to meet customer demand. Also serves as a leader and trainer in the department.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A RESIDENTIAL LOAN PROCESSOR
- High School diploma/General Education Degree
- Four (4) years of residential mortgage loan processing experience
- Self motivated, with strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to train, mentor and provide direction to less senior staff as well as manage loan pipeline to ensure timely and accurate completion of documents that meet required deadlines.
- Ability to interpret regulations and reports as well as the initiative to keep current on all relative regulatory and compliance changes and communicate these changes to staff.
- Ability to outline, document, and make recommendations for more streamlines and efficient loan operations processes.
Candidates must be able to meet deadlines in a high pressure work environment at a fast pace while maintaining quality and accuracy.
