We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Technician to join our growing team.
Job Summary:
The HVAC Technician is responsible for providing professional and efficient HVAC services to Reedy & Company properties throughout the Memphis area, including parts of northern Mississippi. This role involves a wide range of responsibilities, from routine maintenance and repairs to new system installations. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough inspections of residential HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment, at Reedy & Company properties.
Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system malfunctions, identifying and repairing issues efficiently at Reedy & Company properties.
Perform routine maintenance and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems at Reedy & Company properties, including filter changes, cleaning, and tune-ups.
Install and replace a variety of HVAC equipment, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductwork, at Reedy & Company properties.
Ensure all work is performed in accordance with industry best practices, safety standards, and applicable codes (e.g., Tennessee Code) at Reedy & Company properties.
Maintain accurate records of all work performed at Reedy & Company properties, including service reports, invoices, and customer interactions.
Maintain a well-stocked service vehicle with necessary tools, equipment, and parts for work at Reedy & Company properties.
Provide excellent customer service to all clients at Reedy & Company properties, ensuring their satisfaction with our services.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay updated on industry advancements and best practices.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of professional HVAC repair experience.
Valid Tennessee HVAC Technician License (preferred).
EPA Section 608 Certification for refrigerant handling.
Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools.
Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
High school diploma or equivalent.
