A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A RESIDENTIAL HVAC MANAGER

As our Residential HVAC Manager, you are vital to the overall efficiency and success of our company! You strive to optimize our operations and improve how we serve our clients, ensuring that our customers choose us again and again. From the initial service call to project completion, you guarantee that every job goes off without a hitch. Before each job, you ensure that all required permits are pulled and inspected. Thinking strategically, you then appoint the best HVAC technicians for the project, making sure not to overschedule anyone. You regularly visit our techs in the field to oversee their work and ensure everyone closely follows all safety and quality guidelines. If either an employee or a client has any problems or concerns, you immediately address and resolve the situation.

Motivated to improve our operations and processes, you offer constructive coaching and feedback to your team. You manage ongoing training for our technicians, continuously strengthening your team and developing their skills. When possible, you actively seek out and recruit exceptional technicians to join our team. In addition to the human element, you also manage our finances and strive to achieve the budgeted gross margin. You accomplish this by adhering to the company business plan as well as effectively regulating equipment and parts usage. You take great pride in serving as an effective leader for your team and ensuring our customers are well taken care of!

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A RESIDENTIAL HVAC MANAGER

• Experience as a residential HVAC technician
• Valid refrigeration certification
• NATE, OSHA, CPR, and EPA certifications
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record
