Coolray of Alabama is currently seeking Service Electricians to join our team comprised of creative and energetic employees, who are dedicated to delivering the best customer service experience every day. Our Electricians manage the completion of various electrical tasks such as electrical break & repair, troubleshooting/maintenance, and service upgrades while providing exceptional customer service at ALL times by treating customers with the utmost respect and attention. This position will provide general electrical repair and services with an emphasis on quality of work, performed efficiently and following all applicable local and national codes.

What Will I Do?
- Perform electrical service for 90% residential customers and 10% light-commercial.
- Accurately and efficiently troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems.
- Perform repairs consistent with and exceeding National Electrical Code standards.
- Maintaining a clean working area and vehicle.
- Increase customer loyalty by subscribing customers to Electrical Service Agreements.
- Educate and offer the customer appropriate upgrades that can be completed immediately at the time of service call and scheduled appointment.
- Accurately estimate and invoice repairs and projects
- Document work completed with before and after photos.
- Demonstrate Safe working practices and methods
- Effectively communicate with co-workers and customers.

Do I have What it Takes?
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in RESIDENTIAL electrical wiring, service repair and troubleshooting all aspects of the Electrical System.
- Residential remodels and new construction are a plus.
- Ability to read electrical diagrams, run conduits, wire and terminate devices, perform quality control testing, and troubleshooting.
- Working knowledge of installing electrical systems in a new and existing setting.
- Detail oriented with good time management skills.
- Can lift, carry, and maneuver a minimum of 75 pounds without additional manpower or appropriate device.
- Must be able to work in the outside elements of heat and cold safely and on ladders and/or roofs medium to high heights.
- Maintain well-groomed appearance and keep a clean uniform and work shoes.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with a strong desire to exceed customer expectations.
- Results driven in a high-energy environment
- Must pass MVR Test
- Must be able to follow directions and work independently
