As our Project Manager, you will take the lead on various high-end residential projects, ensuring they run smoothly from start to finish. You'll balance time in the office with overseeing sites, working with both clients and trades to bring our custom home designs and remodels to life. Your attention to detail and ability to manage multiple moving parts will be critical to your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all phases of custom home construction, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget
- Oversee remodeling projects, including home additions, kitchen/bath renovations, and basement finishing, managing all aspects from scope design to project completion.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and in-house teams to ensure smooth workflow
- Manage project schedules, ensuring deadlines are met and adjusting as needed
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure high standards of quality
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates and addressing concerns
- Review project plans and specifications, ensuring full compliance with all building codes
- Handle project documentation, including budgets, change orders, and contracts
- Manage punch lists and final walkthroughs, ensuring client satisfaction
- Proactively identify and solve potential issues before they impact the project
- Stay up to date with the latest trends, technologies, and regulations in residential building and remodeling.
Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of experience in residential project management, with a focus on custom homes and high-end remodels preferred
- Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
- Strong ability to communicate with clients, vendors, and team members
- Deep knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and best practices
- Experience with construction management software (BuilderTrend is a plus)
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and balance multiple projects
- A hands-on approach and attention to detail, ensuring the highest quality of work
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to make critical decisions under pressure
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Salary and Benefits
- Full-Time position
- Competitive salary range: $75,000 - $105,000 (commensurate with experience)
- Paid time off: 4 weeks vacation, with the potential for more for the right candidate
