Qualifications and responsibilities for this Residential Construction Designer and Estimator position include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in residential construction design and estimation.
• Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit) and estimation tools (ProEst, PlanSwift).
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and local building codes.
• Design and develop stock home plans and custom layouts based on client needs.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, and subcontractor costs.
• Maintain cost catalogs and ensure accurate pricing for website listings.
• Present designs and estimates to clients, addressing feedback and building relationships.
• Assist with site plans, truss layouts, and other technical drawings.
• Coordinate project schedules and value-engineering analyses to optimize costs.

Salary: $70,000 - $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
