Northstar Heating and Cooling is currently looking to add a Residential/Commercial Sales Project Estimator to our Team!
Someone with experience estimating residential and light commercial installation projects or someone with Lead / Foreman experience looking to transition into an estimating position. This position will work directly with the owner, and he will provide hands-on training!
What you will be doing:
- Estimating residential and light commercial installations
- Load calculations for proper sizing of equipment
- Wiring material lists
- Job costing and Labor hours
- Writing up estimate and installation contracts
- Working directly with the owner
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of HVAC estimating experience
- Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
- Basic accounting skills
- Microsoft Office experience, Word, Excel, Outlook
- Data Entry skills
- WriteSoft experienced desired
- Performing load calculation for the size of equipment
- Writing up contracts
- Material lists
- Pricing together for the job/job costing
- Organized with good communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Pass a background check and drug screen
- Proficient in all HVAC functional design and installation of ductwork systems desired
- Ability to follow blueprints and understand technical instructions desired
- Certification in HVAC from a Trade School is desired
- Knowledge of Federal, State, and Local incentives
Work Hours: Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Fridays, 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Pay Scale: 10% Commission + Relocation Package if needed
