Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Resident Technician to join our service team in Humboldt, Iowa. The Resident Technician will play a crucial role in providing on-site maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs for agricultural equipment. This position requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on agricultural equipment such as tractors, combines, and implements.
• Conduct thorough inspections to identify issues and determine appropriate solutions.
• Complete service reports and maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Communicate effectively with customers to explain repair needs and provide recommendations.
• Collaborate with the parts department to ensure timely availability of required parts.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Keep abreast of new equipment models and technologies through ongoing training and development.
• Represent the company professionally and uphold its reputation for quality service.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a technician in the agricultural equipment industry OR 5+ years of experience with heavy equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Compensation:

• Competitive hourly wage up to $45/hr, commensurate with experience.
• Benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.

Location:

This position is based in Humboldt, Iowa, and requires residency in or near the area.
