As a Resident Care Aid at our facility, you will be responsible for assisting residents with daily living tasks including eating, getting out of bed, and getting bathed and dressed. The ideal candidate understands that each resident has a unique story to learn from, and that they require patience, kindness, and empathy. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES TO INCLUDE:
- Ensures the well-being and protection of every resident through the delivery of high-quality care.
- Promotes and supports a positive work environment focused on team building and collaboration.
- Maintains confidentiality of all pertinent personal or health information concerning residents and staff.
- Answers pendant system/call lights promptly to assist with residents' needs.
- Assists with daily living activities that may include, but are not limited to, bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, walking, transporting, recording vital signs, and providing psycho-social support and other personal cares.
- Documents the outcomes related to resident care, medication administration, behavior, activity, and dietary.
- Communicates changing health conditions, medication follow-up, and care related concerns/responses to nursing leadership team.
- Prepares dining room for meals, serves meals, and cleans up dining room after meals.
- Completes light housekeeping duties as necessary.
- Adheres to OSHA and CDC guidelines for infection control techniques.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
- Employee must pass background check prior to employment.
- Employee must submit to a TB test in accordance with state regulations.
COMPENSATION:
- Employee performance reviews will be completed at the following employment intervals; 3 months, 6 months and annually thereafter, contingent upon continuing employment offers.
- Shift differential, bonuses and pick-up pay available.
- Wage DOE
- Night Shift Differential $1.00 per hour plus hourly wage.
- Weekend Differential $2.00 per hour plus hourly wage.
