The Sanctuary of West St. Paul is looking for a Resident Assistant/Home Health Aide whom would provide personal cares and be trained to pass medications to improve and/or maintain the senior age residents’ physical and emotional well-being at our beautiful assisted living and memory care building in West St. Paul, MN.
This casual/on-call caregiver schedule includes;
- 64 hours per two weeks
- Evening shift
- Every other weekend and rotating holidays

Responsibilities/Job Description:- Assists residents with personal cares including but not limited to: bathing, shaving, dressing, hair care, feeding, toileting, and transfers/lifts.
- Under direction of Nurse, provides health related services as needed such as; passing medication, glucose monitoring, temperatures, blood pressure, and pulse.
- May perform duties that include: laundry, cleaning, meal service, and assisting with activities.
- Observes residents and reports status to appropriate staff.
- Assists with onboarding of new staff
Required Skills:
- Ability to communicate effectively, with compassion and kindness for residents and coworkers while working in a team setting.
- Curiosity to work with a diverse and older population.
- CNA certificated if under 18.
Preferred Education/Experience/Skills:
- High School diploma or GED or completion of a formal NA
