We are looking for a Resident Assistant to join our team in Wayzata, MN! This position would provide personal cares to improve and/or maintain the senior assisted living memory care patient's physical and emotional well-being. This direct care schedule includes;
- 64 hours every two weeks
- Full time, Overnight (NOC) shift
- Includes every other weekend and holiday rotation

Responsibilities/Job Description:- Assists residents with personal cares including but not limited to: bathing, shaving, dressing, hair care, feeding, toileting, and transfers/lifts.
- Under direction of Nurse, provides health related services as needed such as; passing medication, glucose monitoring, temperatures, blood pressure, and pulse.
- May perform duties that include: laundry, cleaning, meal service, and assisting with activities.
- Observes residents and reports status to appropriate staff
- Assists with onboarding of new staff
Required:
- Ability to communicate effectively, with compassion and patience for residents and coworkers while working in a team setting
- Curiosity to work with a diverse and older population
- CNA certificate required if under 18
Ability to use technology in the form of computers, handheld devices, cell phone, fax machines
Preferred:
- High School diploma or GED or completion of a formal NA/CNA or HHA or PCA course
- One to three years of previous experience
