We are looking for a Resident Assistant whom would provide personal cares to improve and/or maintain the senior residents’ physical and emotional well-being for our vibrant and busy assisted living in Burnsville, MN- Arbors at Ridges. As well, will be given on the job training to be able to pass medications. No CNA/NAR required, unless under 18 years old.
This caregiver schedule includes;
- 64 hours per two weeks. part-time
- Evening shift
- Every other weekend (saturday/sunday) rotation and rotating holiday

Arbors at Ridges Assisted Living is located on the Ebenezer Ridges Burnsville Campus near Fairview Ridges Hospital. Arbors at Ridges offers 62 breathtaking apartments. Responsibilities/Job Description:- Assists residents with personal cares including but not limited to: bathing, shaving, dressing, hair care, feeding, toileting, and transfers/lifts.
- Under direction of Nurse, provides health related services as needed such as; passing medication, glucose monitoring, temperatures, blood pressure, and pulse.
- May perform duties that include: laundry, cleaning, meal service, and assisting with activities.
- Observes residents and reports status to appropriate staff
- Assists with onboarding of new staff
Required Skills:
- Ability to communicate effectively, with compassion and kindness for residents and coworkers while working in a team setting.
- Curiosity to work with a diverse and older population
- CNA certificated if under 18
Preferred Education/Experience/Skills:
- High School diploma or GED or completion of a formal NA or HHA course
