About the Job
The laboratory technician will be assisting graduate students and postdocs on their research projects. They will be responsible for routine sample preparation for mass spectrometry analysis, including glycan release, purification, and derivatizations.They will also be tasked with data analysis after receiving training on mass spectral data interpretation. There will be opportunities for further training on HPLC and MS analyses if the incumbent has demonstrated an aptitude for such responsibilities after his/her first year of employment.
Required Skills
Bachelor's Degree in related field and1-3 years of experience.
