Job Description Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Research Technician to assist with the setup and conduct of intraoperative experiments, data collection, and data analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in human neurophysiology, brain computer interfaces, and deep brain stimulation. This is a full-time position with competitive salary and benefits. Job Description


Job Responsibilities



+ Assist with the design, setup, and execution of intraoperative experiments


+ Collect and organize data from experiments using appropriate techniques and equipment


+ Perform data analysis using statistical software and techniques


+ Collaborate with team members to interpret and present findings


+ Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies


+ Participate in the preparation of grant proposals and publications


+ Additional duties as needed





Qualifications



+ Bachelor of Science and 0 to 1 year of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.


+ Experience with human neurophysiology and/or brain computer interfaces


+ Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis and statistical software


+ Excellent organizational and communication skills


+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team


+ Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols


+ Prior experience in a laboratory setting is preferred

Salary offers are made based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, as well as internal and market factors and grade profile.
