Objectives of this Role:
- Develop methodologies for analyzing MMS data.
- Support the development of novel plasma instruments.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
- Participate and carry out original research in magnetospheric and heliospheric physics.
- Support the development of particle and plasma instruments to be flown on upcoming heliospheric or planetary missions.
- Interact with the institute Staff engaged on a broad range of observational, computational, and theoretical research.
- Publish original research in peer reviewed journals.
Requirements:
- Requires an PhD in Space physics or related field with directly related experience.
- 0-2 years: Spacecraft Data Analysis.
- 0-2 years: Demonstrated expertise in Python, and/or IDL programming.
- 0-2 years: Demonstrated publications record.
- A valid/clear driver's license is required.
