What we are looking for:
The Sensis Research Team has an immediate opening for a mixed-methods, mid-level marketing researcher. Sensis conducts a variety of qualitative and quantitative research studies that guide and inform our marketing and digital experience projects. The successful candidate will be a self-starter and be able to work independently as well as on a small, inter-disciplinary research team. The role involves recruiting, coordinating, and managing complex research studies. Interest and prior experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred: quantitative research including writing surveys and doing data analysis; qualitative research experience (e.g., interviews, focus groups); designing and assessing marketing materials; user-centered design; multicultural marketing
What you’ll be doing:
Coordinate recruitment activities and assist with data collection.
Coordinate and assist with various research projects.
Review published literature and assist with summarizing findings.
Develop qualitative and quantitative study data collection materials (e.g., interview guides, survey programming)
Data analysis.
Manage moderately complex projects, including attending client and project meetings, and coordinating with project staff.
Manage correspondence and project communication.
Contribute to project progress reports, deliverables, timelines, and budgets.
Contribute as needed to proposals and business development activities.
Perform work with moderate supervision from mid- and senior-level staff.
Work with program manager on project staffing needs and project workload.
Other responsibilities as assigned.
What you’ll bring along:
Experience working in highly collaborative, integrated teams at market research firms, advertising agencies, or corporate insights teams.
BS/BA degree; graduate degree preferred but not mandatory.
Experience conducting qualitative research, including designing and facilitating focus groups and structured interviews, as well as analyzing resulting data.
Ability to work on multidisciplinary teams.
Excellent knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Ability to manage multiple priorities.
Highly organized.
Excellent writing skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Excellent attention to details.
Foundation in quantitative and qualitative research
Proficiency in at least one statistical analysis software package (STATA preferred, SPSS, or R) preferred.
Multi-lingual preferred (Spanish, Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese speakers)

Compensation:
For California residents only - the salary range for this role is $70,000 - $90,000 commensurate with experience.
The offered salary or salary range is based on several factors, including, but not limited to, overall experience, relevant experience, education level, certifications, applicable skills and expertise, and location of the position.
