Key Responsibilities·Works independently under close supervision.
·Prepares basic solutions and performs base-level procedures as assigned (i.e. pipetting, cell and tissue culture, etc.).
·Maintains laboratory notebook.
·Has understanding of molarity.
·Conducts analysis of results and may begin interpretation of results.
·Sets up and prepares routine experiments as directed.
·Prepares lab reagents, chemicals, instruments and equipment.
·May perform independent literature searches.
·Assists with organizing materials for publication or presentation.
·Maintains and orders supplies.
Qualifications:
Education/Degree
Minimum of a Bachelor of Arts or a Bachelor of Science degree is required.
Required Experience
· School lab experience.
· Some lab experience in addition to school lab experience.
· Undergraduate coursework or projects completed may be considered related experience and may be credited upon hire.
Required Skills
· Ability to work independently and as a team member.
· Good communication skills.
· Computer literacy.
· Working knowledge of clinical research protocols.
· Must be able to perform multiple tasks independently.
