About the Job
Who We Are:
The Particle Science & Technology Section focuses on fundamental research and development in the area of particle emissions from engine sources, brakes & tires, Li-batteries, instruments and sensors development and calibration.
Objectives of this Role:
- Lead projects in the area of particle emissions research and mitigation from various sources.
- Write proposals and conduct promotional efforts with various clients.
- Publish and present work at various conferences.
- Write proposals on relevant topics for internal research and development.
- Collaborate with with researchers within and outside the organization.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
- Calibrate, setup, and operate particle equipment for project needs.
- Analyze and summarize data and report it to client.
- Collaborate or assist in projects related to brake and/or battery particle emissions.
- Collaborate or assist in projects related to particle and gaseous sensors.
Requirements:
- Requires a Masters or a PhD in Mechanical Engineering or related degree field.
- 1+ years: MS degree with a project/thesis on a relevant topic related to particle science & technology and a minimum of 1 year related industry experience.
- 0-2 years: PhD degree with a thesis on relevant topics related to particle science & technology.
- A valid/clear driver's license is required.
