GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

We are looking for professionals in the area of CAR-T Process Development with strong scientific credentials aligned with our noble mission. The candidate should be driven to attain the highest standards of success with integrity.

The position entails the major roles and responsibilities including:

Perform task in process development of CART Cell therapy manufacturing

Candidate should possess knowledge and hands-on experience in oncology, cell biology and immunology, in particular CAR-T cell biology. The candidate should have the ability to contribute to the effort for developing T cell therapy platform, building and optimizing cell-based immunoassays to characterize and assess CAR-T cell functions. Prior experience with

T cell isolation, activation, transduction, expansion and well verse with the process workflow will be strongly preferred. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills are essential in this collaborative work environment.

• Preference given to candidates who have worked in BIOTECHNOLOGY especially in a GMP

  commercial manufacturing environment.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Independently plan, design, execute experiments to assess the in-vitro functions of TCR-T/CAR-T cells.

· Develop T cell therapy platform and optimize cell-based immunoassays, including ex-vivo antigen-specific T cell isolation and expansion.

· Expertise with multi-color flow cytometry, ELISA, ELISPOT, cytotoxic assays is desired.

· Preparation of internal training manual and conducting time-to-time assessment.

· Participate in meetings & Internal -team discussions.

· Ability to work off-shift and extra hours as required.

KEY SKILLS NEEDED:

· Hands-on experience in culturing primary cells /T cells, well verse with cell culture techniques and process equipment including Wave bioreactors.

· Expertise in cell biology and immune cell profiling, experience in multi-color flow-cytometry

· Hands-on experience and troubleshooting proficiency with immune cell isolation from peripheral blood and leukopak, expansion, and cell based immunoassays

· Experience with lentivirus/retrovirus preparation, titration and T cell transduction

· Demonstrated ability in presenting scientific results

· Excellent oral and written communication skills

· A team player who can work efficiently as an individual

MANDATROY SKILLS:

The candidate MUST have the following skills without which the application will not be reviewed:

· More than 5 years experiences in academic research / Biopharmaceutical Industry

/cGMP manufacturing.

· Excellent aseptic/sterile techniques and prior experience with cell culture and upstream process.

PERSONNEL SKILLS:

Candidate should be able to work with a global team across US/India time zones; cultural differences; multi-tasking; results-oriented; experienced in working at small biotech

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT:

Minimum a BS degree in the areas of Life Science, Biotechnology, exposure to molecular and cell biology technologies.

Experience:

· 5-7 years post-graduate experience in human T-cell biology and immunology

Extensive hands-on experience in cell culture and upstrea

m.

MINIMUM YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN THE AREA:

Candidate must have worked for at least 5 YEARS in the areas of cell biology, immunology, molecular biology and development of molecular assays in Bio-pharma, ,Biotechnology Industries or Cell of Gene therapies.
