This is a 12-month contract with possibility of extension. Work will be 100% onsite in Billerica, MA.

Responsibilities:
- Routinely dose nanoparticle-based formulations
- Routinely take down rodents and perform ex vivo tissue analysis
- Monitor animal welfare
- Conduct experiments, independently and in collaboration with colleagues in support of project goals
- Analysis and accurate documentation of assay results in an electronic lab notebook, technical documents, and other reporting formats.
Required skills:
- Extensive in vivo experience and handling mice is required
- Experience with tail vein injections and intramuscular injections are required
- Tissue dissections of rodents is required
- Perfusion and terminal blood collections are highly recommended
- Experience using IVIS imaging and ex vivo tissue homogenization/ extraction is recommended
- Proven ability to work independently in hands-on laboratory setting, self-motivated to learn and develop new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies.
- Familiarity of Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN) and Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) a plus.
- Familiarity with MS Office is a must.
- Strong organizational skills and excellent communication skills (both oral and written) are required.
- Must work well with colleagues as a team player.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in biology, animal care, pharmaceutical science, or related field
- 2+ years of academic or industrial lab experience preferred.
Duration: 12 months with performance dependent extension.
