About the role
As a Research Associate, you'll join our unique in-house Research Services department of PhD, PharmD, and Master's level scientists focused on getting our clients the best clinical care possible for their specific condition. You'll support our research efforts for clients across a broad range of health conditions.
What You'll Accomplish:
- Deliverable Creation: Create patient-friendly educational materials (ex. written reports, presentations, graphs, charts) in response to client inquiries regarding diagnosis or treatment options. This may require analysis of patient medical records, data extraction, tracking of lab values, symptoms, and medication histories.
- Case Responsibilities: Identify, review, and interpret the medical literature and other sources to prioritize diagnostic and treatment options for individual cases. This includes accepted standard of care, the most recent professional guidelines, and most promising investigational approaches. Identify key opinion leaders and other experts in the field of interest to help guide clinical decision making.
- Clinical Trial Identification: Assist in the identification and evaluation of potential clinical trials. This includes database review, identification of supporting evidence, and assessment of trial eligibility.
What you bring to the table
- Master's degree and 2-3 years of research experience in clinical science or healthcare
- Research experience in cardiovascular conditions, infectious disease, immunological and/or inflammatory disorders, chronic illness, preventative health and wellness/longevity
- Professional experience using PubMed, Google Scholar, etc. in the review of the medical literature
- Ability to creatively solve complex problems both independently and as part of a dynamic team
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with exceptional communication skills written, presenting, and verbal

Compensation: The target base salary for this position is $59,000-$70,000
This base salary is only a part of a total compensation package that also includes: health/dental/vision benefits, 401k with match, PTO and other benefits. Individual pay may vary from the target range as a number of factors including market forces, experience, location, disparities in market data and other relevant business considerations may all factor into final compensation.
This is a remote role requiring that you live in one of the states where we currently have business operations: AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, IN, MA, MI, MO, NJ, NC, NM, NY, OH, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, WA.
