We are seeking a highly motivated Research Associate, Senior Research Associate, or Associate Scientist to join our growing team. Successful candidates will play an integral role in developing stem cell-derived therapies for hematologic disorders. We are seeking a highly motivated Research Associate, Senior Research Associate, or Associate Scientist to join our growing team. Role and Responsibilities:
- Culture and expand pluripotent stem cells (iPSC’s) while maintaining culture quality.
- Perform differentiation of pluripotent stem cells and conduct related functional analyses.
- Optimize and troubleshoot procedures, developing protocols to guide internal work.
- Collaborate closely with scientists from cross-functional teams to coordinate workflows.
- Maintain meticulous documentation of experimental procedures and results.
- Effectively communicate research progress and planned activities through clear and concise oral and written presentations.
- Demonstrate flexibility in working hours, including weekends, to accommodate project needs.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- BS or MS in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, or related discipline.
- Experience with mammalian cell culture and cell-based assays.
- Ability to work effectively across multi-functional groups.
- Strong communication skills.
- Able to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented, with good organizational, prioritization, and time management proficiencies. Must be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills, a strong sense of urgency, keen attention to detail, and the ability to successfully execute in an environment under time and resource pressures.
- Authorized to legally work in the US for any employer.
- Experience with multicolor flow cytometry.
- Experience with human pluripotent stem cell culture and differentiation.
