Job Description

With more than 50 years' experience in the crop protection industry, EAS offers a unique portfolio of expertise, providing extensive laboratory and field support across multiple industries including agrochemical, biopesticide, pharmaceutical, biocide, and fine chemical manufacturers.

When you join the EAS Group, you'll become an integral team member in supporting laboratory, field and business processes through clerical and technical operations, while building upon a versatile skills set.

Eurofins Agroscience Services is searching for a ResearchAssistantto work in Porterville, CA.

Research Assistant responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :

• Review and be familiar with study protocol requirements.
• Site characterization sampling and shipping
• Facility upkeep: organization, cleaning, supplies inventory control.
• Train research technicians.
• Recognize situations when Good Laboratory Practices, Standard Operating Procedures or protocol requirements may not be able to be met and immediately communicate those situations to supervisory staff.
• Document trial activities in appropriate study or facility logbooks.
• Prepare and review raw data packages for submission to the Quality Assurance Unit for audit at trial completion.
• Assist with written report summaries.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate would possess :

• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
• Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies

Basic Minimum Qualifications :

• High School diploma
• College course work preferred
• One or more years of vocational office experience preferred

Additional Information

Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., with overtime required as needed. Salary range is $17-18 an hour. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Porterville, CAare encouraged to apply.
