Organization Overview:We study the organization of cells, with a particular emphasis on the mechanisms that control the compartmentalization of cellular components. We study the principles that govern how macromolecules cross membranes or are integrated into membranes,the physiological and pathological consequences of (im)proper compartmentalization,and develop new technologies for studying cellular function.Overview:

We study a commonly lethal cancer that affects adolescents and young adults. This project focuses on developing therapeutics for the cancer.

Responsibilities:

Responsiblities include:

• Mammalian cell culture
• Packaging viruses (particularly AAV)
• Molecular biology (designing plasmids, cloning, in vitro transcription)
• Protein purification

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree required. Experience in the following techniques is preferred:

• Mammalian cell culture
• Packaging viruses (particularly AAV)
• Molecular biology
• Designing plasmids, cloning
• In vitro transcription
• Protein purification

The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on various factors, including but not limited to organizational budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The hiring range provided represents The Rockefeller University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Compensation Range: Min:USD $48,300.00/Yr.Compensation Range: Max:USD $52,000.00/Yr.
