Job Description General Summary

Principal Duties & Responsibilities
- Independently decides which techniques may be appropriate for specific experimental investigations and carries out those experiments with minimal supervision or independently.
- Critically evaluates experimental results independently and provides summaries or interpretation of results to PI. RA II plus under minimal supervision.
- Contributes to the team within and between departments and organizations.
- Coaches RA I and RA II, interns, Co Ops on basic lab techniques.
- Calculates, graphs and compiles data obtained, maintaining records and logs of work performed; uses computer to perform statistical analyses.
- Bachelor's degree, AND a minimum three years of relevant experience OR Master’s of Science AND one year of relevant work experience
- Analytical skills to resolve complex problems requiring the use of scientific, mathematical, or technical principles and in depth, experienced based knowledge
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
