What’s the role?This position is responsible for maintaining company policies and procedures related to managing repossession assignment handling, repossession vendor relationships, ensuring staff adherence to company policies regarding consumer interaction, assist in departmental policy procedure development, review and approval of repossession related invoices, and other data management and reporting support functions. The primary objective of this position is properly overseeing the timely and effective placement of repossession assignments, maintaining, and addressing company recovery performance with network of recovery agents nationwide, while maintaining full adherence to company policies with regard to consumer related interaction.
This position works closely with external entities including repossession associations, repossession agents, auto auctions, transporters, as well as internal departments as both a service provider and service recipient.

What you’ll do as our Repossession Manager?- Responsible for all aspects of pre- and post-repossession handling
- Responsible for monitoring and maintaining adherence to department’s service standards
- Responsible for monitoring and maintaining repossession recovery service standards
- Develop and implement processing improvements for better staff and department performance
- Train and direct staff for effective processing of department functions
- Assist with development, maintenance, and review of management reports
- Measure individual and team performance.
- Provide coaching and staff counseling on performance issues
- Provide market-based vehicle assessment for optimal transport / reconditioning / resale decisions
- Bachelor’s degree
- Previous auto finance, insurance, rental car or risk management experience.
- Strong Management experience - Previous supervisory or management experience required.
- Detail-oriented, ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities.
- Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced PC skills; ability to work with multiple platforms.
- Familiarity with vehicle values, reconditioning cost / benefits, and wholesale remarketing channels desirable.
- Ability to interpret state-specific laws on repossession and sale notice requirements.
- Able to work using the following machine, equipment and software:
- Oracle or other retail consumer servicing system.
- Ability to write and decipher SQL queries (Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL Server)
- Heavy Analytical skills
- Recovery Database Network, AutoIMS, Manheim Market Report
- Web navigation and/or web-based applications.
- Personal computer; Microsoft applications – Outlook, Excel, Word.

What’s the expected pay for this role?- $70,000 to $100,000 per year
- The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire and will be dependent on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, skill set, experience, education, credentials, and licensure when applicable.
