Reporting Analytics Specialist

Type: Long-Term Contract

Work Setting: Onsite (3-4 days per week onsite in Fort Worth, TX during training, w/ potential for more flexibility later)

Location: Fort Worth, TX

This is a hybrid, hands-on technical role where you will collaborate closely with the development team, providing expertise across backend development, data pipelines, and analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable, secure backend systems with a focus on performance optimization and troubleshooting.
• Support initiatives to combine and analyze system data (SQL Server, SSIS, DB2, PostGres, Teradata) to deliver actionable insights.
• Plan and execute data research studies to evaluate component performance and system quality.
• Architect data pipelines, optimize stored procedures, and manage ETL processes.
• Work collaboratively with development teams, pointing them in the right direction as needed.
• Communicate technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
• Operate within a 24/7 support environment, providing occasional after-hours support when critical.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in C#/.NET development (ADO.NET, .NET Core).
• 4+ years of experience with SQL Server, including SSIS and ETL processes.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps/TFS/GIT.
• Proven ability to architect and maintain data pipelines and APIs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex technical issues.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with Tableau, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging systems.
• Exposure to Python, PowerBI, or cloud solutions (Azure/AWS).
• Familiarity with database design, dimensional modeling, and data analytics.

Work Details:

• Onsite Requirement: 3-4 days per week onsite in Fort Worth, TX during training, with potential for more flexibility later.
• Schedule: Standard Monday - Friday hours; rare after-hours support.
• Environment: Collaborative, non-supervisory role in a supportive team structure.
