Reporting Analytics Specialist
Type: Long-Term Contract
Work Setting: Onsite (3-4 days per week onsite in Fort Worth, TX during training, w/ potential for more flexibility later)
Location: Fort Worth, TX
This is a hybrid, hands-on technical role where you will collaborate closely with the development team, providing expertise across backend development, data pipelines, and analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain scalable, secure backend systems with a focus on performance optimization and troubleshooting.
- Support initiatives to combine and analyze system data (SQL Server, SSIS, DB2, PostGres, Teradata) to deliver actionable insights.
- Plan and execute data research studies to evaluate component performance and system quality.
- Architect data pipelines, optimize stored procedures, and manage ETL processes.
- Work collaboratively with development teams, pointing them in the right direction as needed.
- Communicate technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- Operate within a 24/7 support environment, providing occasional after-hours support when critical.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience in C#/.NET development (ADO.NET, .NET Core).
- 4+ years of experience with SQL Server, including SSIS and ETL processes.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps/TFS/GIT.
- Proven ability to architect and maintain data pipelines and APIs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex technical issues.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with Tableau, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging systems.
- Exposure to Python, PowerBI, or cloud solutions (Azure/AWS).
- Familiarity with database design, dimensional modeling, and data analytics.
Work Details:
- Onsite Requirement: 3-4 days per week onsite in Fort Worth, TX during training, with potential for more flexibility later.
- Schedule: Standard Monday - Friday hours; rare after-hours support.
- Environment: Collaborative, non-supervisory role in a supportive team structure.
