Job Description:
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain both recurring and ad hoc reports/dashboards to solve operational and analytical problems.
- Collaborate with partner teams to gather business requirements and translate them into analyses and data delivery tools that support decision-making.
- Develop optimization strategies to enhance efficiency and improve data delivery processes.
- Partner with internal training and knowledge teams to assist in the creation of training materials, disseminate best practices.
- Analyse large datasets to extract actionable insights that support business decision-making.
- Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities in data to provide actionable business recommendations and present findings and insights to stakeholders through visualizations and presentations.
- Manage multiple BI projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
- Works with users to ensure deliverables are meeting or exceeding expectations.
- Provides support and communicates issues to users as defined by IT standards. Monitors access control and troubleshoot BI and analytic applications.
- Participates in planning, testing, and roll-out of patches and upgrades to the BI and analytic software.
- Participates in the development and interpretation of BI and analytics system standards and procedures.
- Seek opportunities for professional development that will enhance job performance including attending webinars, seminars, building networks within the University and with colleagues at peer institutions
- Perform other related work as needed.
Minimum Qualifications Education:
- Minimum requirements include a college or university degree in related field.
Experience:
- Minimum requirements include knowledge and skills developed through 2-5 years of work experience in a related job discipline.
Preferred Qualifications Education:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Major in statistics, business, social sciences, computer science or similar major.
Experience:
- Minimum of two years’ experience analysing, visualizing and synthesizing complex data sets.
Technical Knowledge or Skills:
- Strong project management skills, with an aptitude for leading end-to-end project delivery.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- The ability to work across various teams and projects simultaneously, advancing unified strategy.
- Broad experience working with Salesforce CRM.
- Knowledge and understanding of higher education advancement industry.
