Job Summary:
The Repair and Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the physical aspects of the Whiskey Joe's property. This includes handling routine maintenance tasks, addressing emergency repairs, and ensuring the facility is safe, clean, and fully operational. You will work closely with the management team to ensure that our customers enjoy a comfortable and safe environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems (electrical, plumbing, etc.).
- Address and repair any issues related to machinery, equipment, and infrastructure, including kitchen appliances, bar equipment, and lighting.
- Respond promptly to urgent repair requests and resolve problems efficiently to minimize disruption to operations.
- Maintain the appearance of the facility by fixing leaks, ensuring proper lighting, and repairing broken furniture or fixtures.
- Maintain the appearance of the property by upholding Landscaping of the Beach and entrances.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed, including parts used and labor hours.
- Manage and maintain an inventory of maintenance supplies and materials.
- Assist in setting up, installing, and moving equipment as needed.
- Coordinate with external vendors for more complex repairs or installations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a repair or maintenance role, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Strong knowledge of general repair techniques, including plumbing, and electrical .
- Familiarity with restaurant equipment and machinery, including dishwashers, ovens, refrigerators, and bar equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of issues in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or with a team.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
- Must be able to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
- Basic knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
- A positive attitude, problem-solving mindset, and strong attention to detail.
- Being Bilingual in English/Spanish is a Plus.
