We have an exciting opportunity for a Renewable Natural Gas Regulatory Compliance Analyst to be responsible for assisting in the development, maintenance, and enforcement of company compliance policies, and procedures. This position also manages the data gathering and analysis for required regulatory reporting, provides guidance on compliance-related matters, manages permit renewals and compliance process and prepares and submits government reports.

Responsibilities:Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS) Program and Reporting Management
- Collaborate with the Sr. Manager RNG Compliance to monitor and report on changes in active and upcoming LCFS programs
- Produce and submit mandatory quarterly and annual LCFS reports to regulatory agencies
- Produce and submit Annual Fuel Pathway Reports
- Work with third-party auditors to manage required annual LCFS audits (Carbon Intensity (CI) score, annual reporting audits, etc.)
- Collect, maintain, and analyze all required data for reports listed above
Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) Program and Reporting Management
- Work with Sr. Manager RNG Compliance on monitoring and reporting on changes in the Federal RFS
- Manage Renewable Identification Number (RIN) generation and transfers using the RFS EPA Moderated Transaction System (EMTS) system
- Work with Environmental and Engineering Consultants on quarterly and annual RFS reporting and auditing
- Collect and analyze all required data
- Submit annual RFS Attestation reports
Air Permit Management
- Manage air permit renewals and compliance for all Suburban Renewable Energy facilities
- Work directly with local Municipalities, Environmental and Engineering consultants on submitting Land Application Data Management and Reporting
- Collect, analyze, and maintain all necessary data and information to track anaerobic digester effluent land application from both internal sources and third-party land application companies
- Submit monthly and annual reports required by local and state governments
- Monitor and report on program changes that affect land application practices
Carbon Intensity (CI) Score Management
- Ensure all applicable Suburban Renewable Energy facilities remain in compliance with current CI requirements
- Manage temporary pathway deadlines and data requirements necessary to graduate to a Tier 2 Pathway
- Monitor changes at Suburban Renewable Energy facilities that would require updated CI pathway amendments accurate information for annual air permit submissions

Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering/Science, Data Analysis, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a compliance or operations, data collection and analysis related role
- Audit/verification experience preferred. Anaerobic digester/biogas operation analysis experience preferred
- The ability to interpret and translate complex regulatory requirements into clear and actionable steps
- Able to provide recommendations for improvements to existing compliance processes
- In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental regulations related to natural gas and biogas operations, and proven ability to navigate compliance requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel skills
