Our firm is seeking an experienced Permanent Transactional Attorney who is well-versed in the legal industry. This position provides an excellent opportunity for an individual who is passionate about renewable energy law and new market tax credits. The ideal candidate will have 1-6 years of experience focusing on transactional-based work and will be responsible for providing legal advice and services to ensure our firm operates within the law at all times. If you're a detail-oriented professional with excellent communication skills and a knack for problem-solving, we'd like to meet you.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage and oversee all transactional legal matters, including contract drafting, negotiation, and review.
2. Provide legal advice on issues related to renewable energy law and new market tax credits.
3. Assist in the development and implementation of corporate policies and procedures.
4. Conduct legal research and prepare legal memoranda on various matters.
5. Participate in the definition and development of corporate policies, procedures, and programs.
6. Provide guidance and counsel to the firm's executives on a wide variety of legal and business matters.
7. Collaborate with other members of the legal team to manage and meet departmental goals.
8. Maintain knowledge of the organization's operations and legal documents.
9. Ensure the company operates in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
10. Perform pre-litigation work to minimize risks and maximize legal rights.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Transactional Associate Attorney or similar role.
3. Proven experience in renewable energy law and new market tax credits.
4. Strong understanding of laws and regulations related to transactional-based work.
5. Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills.
6. Ability to work independently and in a team.
7. Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
8. Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to create legal defensive or proactive strategies.
9. High degree of professional ethics, integrity, and gravitas.
10. Excellent judgement and ability to analyze situations and information.
11. Membership in good standing with a State Bar Association.
12. Proficient in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
