Position Description:
The Rendering Artist supports the Sabre team by taking a client’s provided artwork or idea and bringing it to life by adding 3D elements to model what the finished product could look like when complete. The Rendering Artist is important to the sales process to help during design meetings, allowing customers a better understanding of the quality and service they will receive when working with Sabre.

Position Description:
The Rendering Artist supports the Sabre team by taking a client’s provided artwork or idea and bringing it to life by adding 3D elements to model what the finished product could look like when complete. The Rendering Artist is important to the sales process to help during design meetings, allowing customers a better understanding of the quality and service they will receive when working with Sabre.
Key Responsibilities:
Renders (IE) 10%
- Collecting Project Information - On-site pictures, client meetings, measurements, assess building environment, make client modifications.
- Full Environmental Design - Modeling the existing space, Interior designing using 3D Software, design reference research. Using client standard branding material.
- Creating Design Concepts with 3D modeling until client approval.
Renders (Skyline) 80%
- Trade-show specific renders. Ex: 10x10 or 50x75 exhibits
- Salesperson communication, client preferences, logo, timeframes established.
- Start building in 3D, send PDF template to match branding (IE or Skyline)
- Client review, salesperson to relay changes.
- Revisions – Feedback provided by DC, PM or Client.
Rendering (Sabre Internal) 10%
Workshop Renders
- Warehouse/Fabrication area
- Developing new look for the area from scratch
- Clean, client presentable area of warehouse.
- Artistic designs, presentable to clients.
- Update work area. (Discuss at L-10 meetings)
Project Meetings 5%
- L-10 Meetings
- Client focused meetings to discuss renderings and projects. 3-5 per month.
- New client zoom meetings.
Administration 8%
- Archiving - Font library and 3D Library. Save and store all renderings for future use.
- Emails – internal and sales team, Project Managers.
- Misc Marketing – ex: AMA, website photos high res, Shutterstock.
Griding & Graphic Design Support 2%
- Set up art on templates and send out a proof
- Photoshop/illustrator (certain resolution necessary) ex: Checklist, fonts, color, etc.
- Upload to exhibit power, salesperson makes sure client gets the proofs to review. Once approved, package artwork in zip file, upload to corporate site.
Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Interior Design, or related field.
- 5 years’ experience as a Rendering Artist or Graphic Artist
- 3 years’ experience working with Production Art
- Experience with print and digital image production
- Experience working in the Tradeshow industry or any production related industries.
- 3D Modeling (3D Studio Software) - Knowledgeable in the full lifecycle of Production Artwork with 3D Detailing and Technical/Mechanical Construction
- Expert level experience in: Adobe CS, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Vision engraving software and Vectorworks
- Advanced understanding and experience working with CNC Cut Files and machines.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Detail Oriented – specific to measurements, alignments, color coding matching to design, etc.
Effective communication skills with the ability to work with multiple departments
Team Player
Able to thrive and succeed in a fast-paced environment
Advanced problem solving – ensure designs created can be replicated and properly assembled in Production.
Proficient in Google and Microsoft environments
Must possess an adequate design and modeling skillset
