Job Title: Wildfire Litigation Paralegal

Location: San Diego, CA (Remote from LA to Southern Border)

Job Overview:

Our client is seeking a Wildfire Litigation Paralegal to join their team in San Diego, CA. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to attorneys in managing complex litigation related to wildfire claims, including pre-litigation investigation, case preparation, discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, and post-trial proceedings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support attorneys with managing complex litigation related to wildfire claims

• Organize and maintain case files and related documents

• Conduct legal research and analyze case law

• Draft and file legal documents, pleadings, motions, and discovery requests and responses

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program

• 2+ years of experience in wildfire litigation

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook

• Experience with litigation software is preferred, including Relativity and/or Concordance
