Meridth Lamas - State Farm Agency has an immediate opening for a full-time Remote Tennessee Licensed Insurance Sales Field Representative. Sales Field Representatives are expected to actively obtain new business leads through live, in-person networking events, building relationships in the local community, marketing, referrals, and additional outreach initiatives. This proactive approach is essential for expanding the agency’s presence in the state of Tennessee.>
To be successful in this position you must meet the following criteria, please only apply to this position if you:
- Are a Tennessee resident and willing to market yourself in that area. This is a remote position but requires you to live in the state of TN so you can build your book of business through live events and networking in the local market. As well as, establish yourself in the community and serve as our local representative.).
- Have an active Tennessee Property & Casualty license (required)
- Have an Tennessee Life & Health license (required)
- Be awesome at opening doors as well as establishing and nurturing relationships!

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Obtain new business leads through networking, marketing, referrals, and outreach initiatives. This proactive approach is essential for expanding the agency’s book of business.
- Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.
- Building rapport with clients is crucial. Representatives must establish strong relationships to foster trust, which can lead to increased sales opportunities and client retention.
- Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.

Requirements:
- Must be a Tennessee resident and willing to actively market yourself in the local market by attending live events and networking.
- Tennessee Property & Casualty license (required)
- Tennessee Life & Health license (required)
- Insurance Sales Experience/ Property & Casualty and L/H licenses required
- Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred
- Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas preferred
- Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening
- Self-motivated
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to effectively relate to a customer
- Must have the ability to commute to live events and local networking opportunities.
