Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Remote Tax Manager to oversee and manage our clients' tax-related needs. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in public accounting and possess a deep understanding of tax regulations and compliance, particularly for high net worth individuals and real estate investments. This role offers the flexibility to work remotely while collaborating with a dynamic team to deliver exceptional tax services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise the preparation and review of federal and state tax returns, including 1040, 1120, and 1120S forms.
- Provide expert tax planning and consulting services to high net worth clients, ensuring compliance with current tax laws and regulations.
- Conduct thorough research on tax issues and develop strategies to optimize clients' tax positions.
- Lead and mentor junior staff in the tax department, providing training and guidance as needed.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and providing exceptional service.
- Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and industry trends to provide informed advice to clients.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax services.
- Demonstrated expertise in preparing and reviewing individual and business tax returns.
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations pertaining to high net worth individuals and real estate investments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a remote work environment.
