Job Details
As a Remote Tax Manager, you'll be a pivotal figure in our virtual tax landscape, responsible for:
- Directing all aspects of client engagements, from comprehensive tax compliance to insightful advisory services, ensuring the highest caliber of work.
- Cultivating and nurturing strong client relationships, addressing their unique tax challenges, and introducing innovative planning concepts.
- Taking the reins in supervising and mentoring a team of tax professionals, overseeing their work quality, and nurturing their professional development.
- Playing an active role in our virtual practice development endeavors by attracting new clients, expanding services for existing clients, and contributing to remote team recruitment and retention initiatives.
- Managing risk associated with remote tax services, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations.
- Assessing intricate tax returns and offering expertise on technical tax matters, continually elevating your own technical proficiency.
- Collaborating closely with partners and stakeholders to contribute to the strategic growth of the firm, all while working remotely.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you'll need:
- A minimum of 5 years of hands-on tax experience, including substantial involvement in technical tax consulting, research, and implementing innovative planning strategies.
- A proven track record of at least 2 years in supervising and guiding a team of direct reports, while maintaining a high standard of work.
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, with a Master's degree as an added advantage.
- An active CPA license, a testament to your expertise and dedication in the field.
- Exceptional project management, organizational, and time management abilities to effectively manage multiple remote client engagements and team responsibilities.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to engage clients, collaborate remotely with colleagues, and convey complex tax concepts with clarity.
