Our esteemed organization is looking for a dynamic, detail-oriented, and motivated Tax Manager to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all tax-related activities within the organization. This includes tax planning, preparing tax returns, and ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local tax laws. The role requires a deep understanding of tax regulations and laws, excellent analytical skills, and a strong background in accounting.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage and oversee all tax-related activities within the organization, including tax planning, preparation, and compliance.
2. Prepare and review tax returns for corporations and partnerships, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all federal, state, and local tax laws.
3. Develop and implement effective tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize profitability.
4. Conduct thorough tax research and analysis to provide expert advice and insights to senior management.
5. Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and record-keeping.
6. Monitor and analyze tax regulatory developments and tax law changes to assess their impact on the organization.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is preferred.
2. A minimum of 4 years of experience in tax management, preferably in the finance industry.
3. Extensive knowledge of tax regulations and laws, with a focus on corporate and partnership taxation.
4. Proficiency in tax preparation and planning, with a proven track record of managing tax compliance.
5. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and analyze financial data.
6. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
