JOB DESCRIPTION
Seize your opportunity to make a personal impact as a Statistical R Programmer supporting the National Institutes of Health (NIH) National Cancer Institute (NCI) Biometric Research Program.
- Work with a statistical research team to analyze lab results
- Utilize genomic and proteomic technology to identify molecular targets, resistance mechanisms and effective new drugs, drug combinations and biomarkers for guiding treatment.
- Support genomic variant based clinical trials and to enhance the ability of biologists and pharmacologists to analyze and interpret genome-wide data.
Education:
- Bachelor of Science (preferred)
Required Experience:
- R programming skills- (2-3 years)
- Statistical analysis
Required Technical Skills:
- R-programming (proficient)
- Ability to run statistical tests in R
- Understanding of biology and bioinformatics
Security Clearance Level:
- HHS Position of Trust to obtain NIH badge
