REMOTE SENSING ENGINEER
Matrix Research is currently seeking a Remote Sensing Engineer for our growing business in Dayton, Ohio. This position is onsite at WPAFB in Dayton, OH
HOW WILL THIS POSITION CONTRIBUTE?
Mission: You can help us fulfill our mission by executing advanced research involving image processing, feature extraction, characterization, and AI/machine learning.
WHAT SKILLS ARE NEEDED?
Required:
- Experience in one or more of the following technical areas:
- Signal and image processing
- Statistical pattern recognition, computer vision, data science
- Algorithm implementation and optimization
- AI/ML with emphasis on NeRF
- Experience with programming:
- Must have experience with research and development using Matlab and/or Python
- Willingness to learn other languages as needed
- A Bachelor's degree (in engineering, physics, mathematics, computer science, or related) with five years of experience, or another combination of education and experience
- Applicants must be US citizens capable of obtaining and maintaining a US DoD security clearance
- Applicants must be willing to work at WPAFB as their primary location
Desired:
- Experience with visible and infrared image processing
- Practical experience applying state of the art image processing algorithms on measured data
- Familiarity with exploitation algorithms including detection, tracking, and characterization
- AI/ML experience with practical application of NeRF
- Master's or Doctorate degree
- Active TS/SCI security clearance
