Remote Platform Engineer Linux requires;
-5 years - Experience in Information Technology required.
-1 year - Experience in IT engineering in an enterprise environment.
-Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems or a related field or equivalent years of experience is required.
-Equivalent years of experience are defined as 4 years of professional experience.
-Advanced knowledge of infrastructure technologies including infrastructure services, platform technologies and monitoring tools.
-Systematic, fact based decision making and problem solving.
-Strong inter-personal skills and ability to cultivate relationships with all internal/external stakeholders, promoting diversity of perspectives, ideas and cultures.
-Exceptional work ethic, high sense of urgency, driven, self-motivated, highly accountable with strong initiative and passion.
-Ability to clearly articulate ideas, problem/solution/business value descriptions that can be understood by a broad audience
-Organization skills and ability to work on multiple projects and/or assignments simultaneously.

Remote Platform Engineer Linux duties:
-Certify multiple hardware platforms and the interrelationship/interoperability of different operating systems and complex environments.
-Provide technical leadership and responsibility for the installation and certification of all supporting software and hardware in order to assure a sound deployment basis for production implementations.
-Developing data architecture to support both the production system, and the backend data science and modeling tools.
-Recommends/designs structures and tools for systems which meet business needs and takes into account target environment, performance security requirements and existing systems.
-Must be willing to adjust schedule to perform maintenance and upgrades outside of business hours and be part of an on-call rotation.
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $ 44.00 Per Hour
