We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Personal Injury Attorney to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent, full-time, remote position, providing an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high volume environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for personal injury law, be a strong advocate for our clients, and have a minimum of 5 years of plaintiff personal injury experience.
Responsibilities:
As a Personal Injury Attorney, you will be responsible for managing a heavy case load from start to finish. This includes intake, pre-litigation, settlement negotiations, litigation, and trial. Your day-to-day tasks will also involve:
1. Handling all aspects of the litigation process including discovery, depositions, motions, court appearances, and trial.
2. Negotiating settlements on behalf of clients in mediation and informal negotiations.
3. Drafting and reviewing legal documents including pleadings, discovery, and motions.
4. Providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a high level of communication with clients.
5. Collaborating with our team of attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants to ensure cases are handled efficiently and effectively.
6. Staying up-to-date with changes in personal injury law and sharing knowledge with the team.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following qualifications:
1. Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.
2. Active license to practice law in California
3. Minimum of 5 years of plaintiff personal injury experience.
4. Proven track record of successful settlements and verdicts.
5. Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to resolve matters favorably and efficiently.
6. Strong litigation skills with experience in all stages of the litigation process.
7. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
8. Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple deadlines.
9. High level of professionalism and excellent client service skills.
10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
11. Proficiency with legal research tools and software.
