Job Description
Lawyers represent clients before courts, tribunals, and regulatory bodies. They provide legal opinions and risk assessments, draft court documents such as pleadings, and draft other legal documents such as contracts and wills. They may also plead cases and conduct prosecutions in courts of law.
REMOTE Employment Law Attorney -2 positions
**This is a remote position**
Our client is currently in search of of a senior employment attorney with a minimum of 15 years of experience. Salary is commensurate with experience.
Qualifications
Skills & Experience needed:
- Must have a well-established and exclusive employment litigation, defense background
- Must have current or recent experience working with school third party administrator employment panels
- Must have school district defense experience in employment law
- Must have 15 years of employment law defense experience
- Trial experience preferred, but not required
- Experience with public entity defense a plus
- Must have knowledge of class/PAGA inclusive
- Bachelor’s and Juris Doctor degrees
- Member, State Bar of California in good standing
- Superior research, analytical, and negotiating ability
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Commitment to proactive case management
