Our client is seeking an EDI Support and Pricing Analyst with at least one year of relevant working experience and strong interpersonal and communication skills to join their IT team. This is a remote position, although candidates located in the Mountain Time Zone are preferred.

EDI and Pricing Analyst Job Duties:
- EDI Support : This involves managing the electronic exchange of business documents, such as purchase orders, invoices, and shipping notices, between trading partners. EDI support typically includes troubleshooting EDI transactions, resolving issues related to data integrity and format compliance, and ensuring smooth order flow through the EDI system.
- EDI Mapping and Translation : Expertise in EDI mapping and translation tools, which convert data between EDI formats and internal systems. In cases where automated mapping is not feasible or where exceptions occur manually mapping data elements between EDI standards and internal formats.
- Price Data Warehousing : Creating and maintaining a centralized repository of pricing data is essential for effective price management. This involves designing and managing databases or data warehouses to store historical pricing information, as well as developing processes for extracting, transforming, and loading pricing data from various sources.
- Price Approval Process : Establishing and managing a structured process for pricing approvals ensures that pricing decisions are consistent, transparent, and aligned with business objectives. This may involve designing workflows, defining approval thresholds, and implementing controls to prevent unauthorized price changes.
- Price Auditing : Conducting regular audits of pricing data and processes helps ensure accuracy, compliance, and integrity. Price auditors may review pricing documents, analyze pricing discrepancies, and identify areas for process improvement or risk mitigation.
- Margin Analysis : This aspect of the role involves analyzing margin data, identifying trends, and providing insights to support pricing decisions. This could include customer program analysis, item margin analysis, price/volume/mix analysis, and evaluating the impact of pricing changes on sales and profitability.
- Knowledge of X12 standards, specifically for documents 850, 875, 855, 856, 810 and 880.
- Additional experience in CSV, delimited, fixed-length, and XML formats helpful.
- Ability to troubleshoot failures in any of these documents.
- Familiar with implementing EDI Specifications for the above documents.
- Familiar with Requirement gathering and documenting for EDI trading partners.
- Familiar with transmission protocols, such as FTP, AS2, and API.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
EDI and Pricing Analyst Preferred skills:
- Knowledge of data manipulation tools, such as Excel, Notepad ++, Access, SQL, VS Code, etc.
- Knowledge of ERP systems, specifically Sage 300.
- Familiarity with trading partner portals, including product and document management, and EDI specs.
- Working experience with EDI providers True Commerce, SPS Commerce and/or Interlink Commerce.
