Case Review & Eligibility Specialist | Arlington, VA | Contract with Potential Extension
Aston Carter is hiring a Document Review & Eligibility Specialist on behalf of a national non-profit organization dedicated to providing child care resources and funding for military families.
*Please note this is a remote opportunity that requires equipment pick-up in Arlington, VA*
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 10:30am - 7:00pm
--> Training Schedule (approximately 2-4 weeks): Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 6:00pm
Description & Responsibilities:
Aston Carter highly-organized and detail-oriented individual to serve as a Case Review & Eligibility Specialist, i.e. "Quality Control Specialist". The Quality Control Specialist is tasked to:
+ Review fee assistance applications to ensure compliance with eligibility requirements.
+ Review paper and electronic records to ensure compliance with internal processes and timelines.
+ Identify errors using established systems.
+ Communicate with cross-team colleagues to resolve questions and correct errors.
+ Provide regular updates and reports on activities and accuracy to supervisors and departmental leadership.
+ Serve as an expert resource on program policies and requirements.
+ Assist with special projects and other functions as needed to accomplish organizational objectives.
Skills & Qualifications:
+ Minimum of a BA/BS degree or at least one year of experience in program administration or direct service to clients.
+ 1-3+ years experience in document control, quality control, quality assurance, document review and/or auditing.
+ Proven experience performing case reviews, eligibility reviews, and attention-to-detail.
+ Ability to comprehend and become an expert in policies and requirements of fee assistance programs.
+ Proficiency in computer skills and experience with the Microsoft Office suite of products.
+ Exceptional interpersonal and verbal skills.
+ Proven record of achievement in meeting program productivity goals and accuracy targets.
+ Proven record of reliability and timeliness in attendance.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00
