Job Details
Our company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Remodel Superintendent. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant remodels, construction, and commercial project management. This is a full-time role that offers an exciting opportunity to oversee and manage a wide range of remodeling projects from start to finish. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
Responsibilities
1. Oversee and manage all aspects of the remodeling process from initial planning and budgeting to final execution and completion.
2. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction specialists to design and implement effective remodeling plans.
3. Monitor project progress regularly and make necessary adjustments to ensure that deadlines are met and budgets are maintained.
4. Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with industry safety standards and regulations.
5. Resolve any issues or problems that may arise during the remodeling process quickly and efficiently.
6. Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members to ensure that all parties are kept informed of project status and any changes.
7. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure the quality of work and adherence to plans.
8. Maintain detailed project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
Qualifications
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the finance industry.
2. Proven experience in commercial remodels, restaurant construction, and commercial project management.
3. Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and quality standards.
4. Excellent project management skills, including the ability to plan, organize, and oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
5. Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of individuals.
7. Proficiency in using project management software and other relevant computer applications.
8. A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
9. Valid certification in Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) or equivalent is a plus.
