Position Overview/Description:
The Remediation Project Manager will support the Operations department and act as a liaison with Field and Transportation Support.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direction to the Remediation teams and model GrayMar values.
- Ensure each employee is prepared and educated in safe work practices.
- Develop, coach, train, and promote employees. Provide ongoing feedback and motivation, including performance goals.
- Ensures adherence to safety and compliance by following policies, processes, and always acting in a safe manner.
- Works with customers to develop and implement solutions to meet their objectives.
- Plans, organizes, coordinates, and all project activities
- Communicates project functions to field teams and customers
- Directs changes and provides solutions for all field work
- Capable of building effective schedules, timelines, and milestones for project work
- Participate in site walks to gain full understanding of project scope
- Prepares cost estimates for customer projects including the ability to effectively source all (labor, equipment, materials, subcontractors, etc.) to meet project objectives
- Manages project costs and ensures they are within budgetary expectations.
- Reviews employee time sheets and worksheets and ensures accurate invoicing and payroll.
- Identifies change conditions and prepares written change orders
- Responsible for the submittal of accurate, timely and complete documentation
- Responsible for the positive financial performance of the project.
- Prepares field reports for all projects and ensures that all pertinent supporting documentation is completed in a timely manner.
- Understands blueprints and specifications.
- Manages multiple projects and performs other duties as assigned
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Proven leadership and business acumen skills.

- Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated proficiency in supervising and motivating subordinates.
- Basic competence in subordinates’ duties and tasks.
Education and Experience:
- College degree and 3-8 total years of construction/environmental experience years, with 3 years managing projects preferred; GED with 7+ years of project experience and demonstrated project management experience.
- Have a current 40 Hour OSHA HAZWOPER (1910.120), and current 8 Hour refresher.
- Have or obtain and Competent Person for Excavation certificate.
