Job Purpose: Creating and nurturing client relationships to effectively sell MBH luxury staging services utilizing a consultative sales approach.
Current Job Duties:
- Utilizing a consultative sales approach with all current and prospective clients to sell MBH luxury staging services
- The outside sales exempt employee will be expected to be engaged in sales and sales-related activity, including traveling, driving, and meeting with clients outside of home and all offices, for a minimum of 60% of weekly working hours
- Following up on client requests for luxury staging needs in a timely manner
- Utilizing appropriate consultative sales practices and speed to contact and engage leads/clients provided by the office
- Using proper and professional phone etiquette, customer service skills, and rapport building techniques to initiate and maintain contact with clients
- Scheduling immediate appointments for walkthroughs with clients/leads
- Setting expectations with clients over the phone and in person regarding staging processes and procedures
- Conducting an engaging and cogent walkthrough, an engaging sales presentation onsite with clients, effectively conveying the value proposition of MBH, influencing clients to retain MBH as their staging company of choice
- Preparing an effective bid and proposal, and successfully closing/converting the bid to become a job
- Maintaining excellent communication with clients throughout the staging process, including regularly following up with and responding to clients’ needs and questions
- Closing staging projects/converting leads to bids and bids to jobs at target set by management by developing and executing a strategy to meet those targets
- Requesting an appropriate designer for the staging and supporting the designer throughout the process
- Completing all company forms and protocols for the staging project/following SOPs
- Managing the client relationship, contract process and client needs for each staging project, including managing client expectations, from inception to completion utilizing proactive, timely, and effective communication with clients
- Conducting initial and final walkthroughs of the property with the client
- Problem solving with clients throughout the process, including escalating and resolving areas of concern as raised by clients
- Executing on processes and procedures within Salesforce and Docusign regularly including creating leads, notating the system with all activity, creating the bid, and sending and receiving the contract effectively
- Understanding the contract and communicating contract terms to client effectively
- Providing high levels of customer service with clients throughout the client life cycle
- Building and maintaining client relationships
- Requesting and developing referrals throughout the client life cycle
- Maintaining excellent product knowledge and educating clients on non-staging products and services offered by the company
- Seek opportunities to cross-sell or up-sell to clients
- Maintaining Systems knowledge
- Keeping and submitting a weekly activity log for mandatory weekly coaching and one-on-ones
- Implementing coaching and feedback from manager/superior
- Demonstrating an openness and willingness to work with manager to continuously identify areas of strength and to continuously improve in areas of opportunity
- Proactively seeking out opportunities for training and professional development as needed
- Demonstrates client retention
- Attends monthly sales meetings
- Adheres to legal compliance and regulation as outlined by MBH
Compensation: Relationship Managers - Sales employees will be full-time, outside sales exempt employees. The full benefits package is that available to full time employees per Company policies from time to time and may include, medical, dental, vision, 401k and mileage compensation as well as company phone and Ipad or tablet provided for Company use only. Compensation is by commission, based on criteria set forth in an offer letter. Relationship Manager -- Sales employees will be expected to close/generate a minimum of $500,000 in staging fees annually.

Physical Demands and Work Environment :
Physical Requirements:
- Employee frequently is required to sit, stand, walk, drive for long periods of time daily
- Employee frequently is required to use a computer or smart device for extended periods of time.
Visual, Hearing and Communication Requirements:
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal directions in English
- Requires visual acuity to use department equipment, such as telephones, personal computers, calculators, copiers, etc.
- Requires hearing to be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with co-workers, vendors, clients, and others for word-related purposes.
Environmental Conditions
- The employee normally works both indoors and outdoors, spending long periods of time in one’s car, and may be walking homes and construction projects of various size.
- Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high.
