- Department: Physical Therapy
- Schedule: Full-time, 8 - 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. Rotating weekends and Holidays.
- Hospital: Ascension Via Christi
- Location: Wichita, Kansas
Manage the daily operations of rehabilitative services.
- Develop specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.
- Assesse quality of patient care and coordinate services with patients and healthcare providers.
- Manage staff relations and oversee scheduling, recruitment, and payroll.
- Oversee departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, contracts, and vendor relations.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- One or more of the following required:
- Rehab Therapist specializing in Occupational Therapy (OTR) credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts.
- Licensed Rehab Therapist specializing in Physical Therapy (RPT) credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts.
- Speech-Language Pathologist credentialed from the Kansas Adult Care Home Administrators,
Audiologists, Dietitians and Speech-Language Pathologists.
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's
degree/Technical degree with 2 years of experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific
experience required. - 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
Physical Therapist with Leader/Manager experience preferred.
PT Kansas License preferred.
Inpatient Physical Therapist experience preferred.
